As the home of Mississippi KIDS COUNT, the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi gathers and shares reliable child well-being data to help communities, policymakers, program leaders, and partners better understand how children and families are doing across the state.
Mississippi KIDS COUNT is a leading resource for information on Mississippi children and serves as a catalyst for improving outcomes for children, families, and communities.
Through KIDS COUNT, the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi develops and shares national, state, and local data products that help educate and inform the public, policymakers, program administrators, and community partners. This work supports better decision-making and helps connect data to policies, programs, funding, advocacy, and local planning.
Data Road Shows bring this work into communities. Through presentations, trainings, county-level conversations, and practical tools, the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi helps partners understand what the data means and how they can use it.
